Call For Partners

Started in 2007, the Angel Capital Summit ("ACS") has become the largest investor fair in the U.S. As a volunteer driven ‘design/build’ event, the ACS 2008 had over 50 different organizations help produce it. These organizations were either ‘ACS Advisor/Investor Partners’ or ‘ACS Association Partners’.

What are ACS Advisor/Investor Partners?

Organizations that are focused on mentoring and educating entrepreneurs. ACS Investor Partners help entrepreneurs with their applications to present @ the ACS. Examples from the ACS 2008 include the Keiretsu Forum, the Rockies Venture Club, the Longmont Entrepreneurial Network, and the Ft. Collins Technology Incubator.

What are ACS Association Partners?

Organizations with a high percentage of entrepreneurs, but that are more focused on networking than mentoring or education. ACS Association Partners help to engage the larger entrepreneurial community in the ACS. Examples from the ACS 2008 include Integrated Alliances, the CXO Network and the CO Office of Economic Development. Many organizations have already signed up for ACS 2009; a complete list of partners is below.

What are the benefits to ACS Partners?

  • Participation in a mentoring and networking process that really WORKS. By example, last year’s ACS Exec. Committee had 57 members representing over $6,000,000,000 in investments made. (Yes, that’s billions.) There were also hundreds of other investors that attended the ACS and/or were involved in the online components of it.
  • Education for your entrepreneurs - Designed primarily by investors, the application to present forces them to think of their business like an investor has to before they can make an investment. When completed, their file gets reviewed by subject matter experts and investors recruited specifically for their expertise in the specific kinds of deals represented by the ACS applicants. As the deal screening is done online, each comment made by the advisors and investors reviewing the deals is captured – and later presented back to the entrepreneur. Deal screeners can also communicate directly with the entrepreneur in this process, and with each other.
  • The ability to help your entrepreneurs get funded
  • Deal flow for your investors
  • Publicity for your organization
  • It’s free for your organization and your entrepreneurs to become ACS Partners*
  • You receive a discount code for the ACS that you can distribute to your members and mailing lists, recognition on the ACS site, and the ability to have your members participate in the ACS Virtual Conference.

All of this results in better businesses being built faster, which is what the ACS is all about.
